This past weekend (9-12-09) we played in a Charity Dodgeball Tournament hosted by The Utah Jazz's Deron Williams & Kyle Korver. Our team was the BONE CRUSHERZZ (note the double Z's...shout out to the JAZZ)
We did...well not so good. Basically we had 5 girls on our team & there was only one other team with more than one girl. We stunk it up in the morning being the first team to post 0-4. I mean if you are going to suck...SUCK BIG!
In the afternoon, we got the chance to play again, 1/2 of our team left so we "recruited" some guys from maintenance Dan & Simon, Eric (from the guys team) "Screech" a ball boy & mascots..BEAR, Swoop, Flash Fox & Wolverine. We did well enuf to get to play against Deron & Kyle's team. It was so exciting! We won our first game (after Deron threw the ball real hard at me to get me out) and you would have thought we had won the $500 million dollar lottery.
It was so much fun & from what we can tell at least $20K was raised for the Christmas Box House.
