Steve passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 7, 2011
Steve is survived by wife Roxanne and children Briauna (19) Braden (16) and Cameron (14)
Son of James Taylor and Mary Taylor, brother of James, Katherine, Patty & Scott.
Loved by all! Steven "papa" we love you forever and our hearts smile for now you have your wings and are free.
A memorial service will be held in Steve's honor in August.

**On May 31st my beloved Brother-In-Law Steve went into cardiac arrest & fell into a coma for 7 days. On the 7th of June Steve was taken from us to heaven. Staying by his bedside was a hard, trying & frustrating experience. It was also so very rewarding to see all the love and support we had for each other as a family. Being able to spend the last moments of life with someone is a sad blessing. Knowing that you are there to bring whatever comfort you can - does bring a small amount of peace to your heart. For me - the peace that I have in my heart comes from knowing that Steve is now with our Savior Jesus Christ in heaven. Some may find that trivial but I find it comforting ~ at this point I will take whatever comfort I can get.
In the days/weeks since there has been such an out pouring of support from our family, friends & neighbors. People we do not even know have done extrodinary things & there is no way that we would ever be able to repay them. Thank you does not seem to cover the feelings of gratitude that we have.
I know that there are many challenges in the future - but as a family I know that we will be able to over-come them.
To Bri, Braden & Cam...I love you guys with all my heart & I am so sorry for what you guys have been through. I told you guys that if I could have traded places with your dad I would have done that - because I love you that much I would do anything humanly possible for you ~ please know that I will be here for you whenever you need me.
