Last night (9/26/08) Nicole, Heathy & Pat Rentz hosted the first of the Presidential Debate parties...note all the food (1 of 2 tables full of treats)
The debate focused on Foreign Policy & the Economy - argueably a "strong" suit for John McCain - however Barack held his own & beat him on 3 or 4 talking points. It is the first of 3 debates & a GREAT start for the Democratic party.
The group that gathered in the Rentz home was from all over & it was fun to meet people who have the same goal as you do. Eight is Enough for us & hopefully if the rest of the country has a "brain" it will be for them too!
